Take your process as the box, here and now. Here is a place in space, now is a moment in time. Everything which is not here and now is out of the box, potentially a resource

14:00 - 15:003. LINK: Your product or process DNA
Abstract properties with abstract functions identify the properties and functions that are linked in a product or process. From the ProductDNA® go into two directions: similar DNA is family (step 4), vary the DNA for new solutions (step 5).
15:15 - 17:004. IMPORT : inspiration from outside
Your abstract properties and functions (step 3) will identify other similar products or processes in other domains, the ProductDNA® will point you to find ‘family’ that will act as inspiration to new concepts.

Your Trainer

Simon Dewulf, has a passion for creative technology and methods to boost idea generation, problem solving and technology transfer. With a background in Material Science and Engineering, from Imperial College, London, his broad background allowed to conduct many projects for companies in very divers technology driven sectors. The success of these projects was not based on his knowledge but rather on the knowledge from other domains, these approaches bring to the table. Nobody is as smart to everybody together. Simon published his innovation research is papers and books. For the last 15 years, Simon ran companies in Belgium, in the area of product and process innovation, creativity software, patent research, food innovation and funding. He has a passion for creativity, nature, humour, film and food.

By PLANE: Best Airport ARMIDALE. From Armidale Airport a member of our team will pick you up and drive you to AULIVE Innovation Centre. From Sydney there are several direct flights from REX and Qantas. Please contact us to assist you with your booking. We suggest you take the 18.45 or 18.50 from Sydney the night before the course, and the 17.10 or 17.35 from Armidale.We are happy to bring you to the airport after the course.
